Anthony Bonna Collects Enough Signatures To Qualify For The Ballot

With your help, we did it! Sasha and I would like to give a HUGE thanks to the 2,174+ who took the time to fill out a petition to put me on the ballot and our great volunteer team who got us across the finish line!

Candidates for St. Lucie County Commission are required to collect 1,944 valid signatures from registered voters within the county or pay a significant fee to appear on the ballot (more than $4,500.)

Centennial High School Honored At PSL City Council

Was proud to visit my friends at the Port St. Lucie City Council tonight to recognize my high school alma mater, St. Lucie West Centennial High School, and congratulate them on the excellent work being done there. A huge thanks to the City for recognizing our “A” and “B” schools and to the teachers, students, parents, and leadership who make these successes possible. #EaglePride

Team Tommy Lip Sync Battle

The Team Tommy 2018 Lip Sync Battle was an incredibly fun event! Fellow Commissioner Cathy Townsend King and Lynette Bereta Marraffa were great emcees that didn’t hold back. Congrats to my friend James Monds for winning it all. Congrats as well to Renaissance Charter School of St. Lucie for a great first year act. And props to Mitch Kloorfain for the photos.

The event raised funds for the Team Tommy Foundation – Florida, a 501c3 that provides financial assistance to families in need battling Myositis diseases. Dana (Tommy’s wife) and Laurie (Tommy’s little sister) co-founded Team Tommy Foundation in August of 2012 to raise awareness for Dermatomyositis and Myositis diseases in honor of Tommy Worthington.

Keep America Beautiful – Fort Pierce

Had a great time being a part of Clean the Fort! Keeping our cities beautiful is an important part of helping our businesses thrive.

My activities ranged from helping out at Glidden Park, laying mulch downtown, and unveiling the new “Welcome to historic downtown Fort Pierce” sign pictured above.

Here’s some video from the weekend.
